MAFM1 – LAMBDA METER

OVERVIEWMAFM1, our single channel multi sensor compatible air / fuel ratio meter is a proven reliable instrument that has seen wide spread application in many fields, including motorsport, training, research, engine calibration and diagnosis. It users include engine tuners, race car teams, technical training colleges, universities, automotive aftermarket product and original equipment manufacturers and aerospace customers.

This instrument uses either a conventional oxygen sensor or a UEGO (universal exhaust gas oxygen) sensor. It provides a digital display of lambda or Air / Fuel ratio with scaling for Gasoline, Diesel, LPG and Alcohol. An additional bar graph display with a peak and hold function quantifies transient fueling errors. Dual linearized analog outputs are provided for connection to Autronic ECUs or dash / data logger devices.

Comprehensive inbuilt diagnostics determine sensor condition and inhibit measurement until the sensor is ready and able to operate reliably. Sensor warm-up state & condition are reported in real time.
ROBUST – Designed to withstand the arduous conditions encountered during automotive testing. Multiple levels of defence against electrical surge are provided on the inputs, output and power supply. Over temperature protection is enhanced by a built-in protective hibernation feature.
